At Takengon Estate, our coffee is born where the earth meets the sky. Cultivated at elevations of 1,200 to 1,700 meters above sea level, our beans thrive in the cool, oxygen-rich air of the Gayo Highlands. This high-altitude environment slows maturation, allowing complex sugars to develop and creating beans that are dense, vibrant, and brimming with character.
The result? A cup that sings with bright acidity, floral aromas, and layered notes of citrus, dark chocolate, and wild honey—a true reflection of the untamed beauty of Sumatra’s mountains.
